PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION DAYS
CREATIVE LIGHT
Being creative with light is enabling. It adds a touch of drama, depth and emotion into an image. With the use of gels, gobos, fabric materials and some imagination, plus two first class models, we will be using creative light to elevate your portraiture photography and to produce portraits with impact.

The use of creative light can add dramatic impact to an image. Our Creative Light classes aim to do just that by adding in lighting and key elements on set to elevate the look and feel of an image. Split across two studio locations at our Session Days HQ, these Creative Light classes will feature two professional models with ‘the look’ required for this genre of photography. We will be demonstrating lighting techniques and styling for each of the following sets:
- Lighting with gels
- Light shaping with GOBOs
- Adding colour to backgrounds
- Creative silhouettes on colour backgrounds
- Creative rim lighting
- Using fabrics for an ethereal feel
We are sure you will want to join us on this class to learn just how some simple techniques can be employed to lift the quality of image that you can create.
Creative classes are held at our studios in Central Manchester. The address of the studios is Hope Mill, 113 Pollard Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 7JA. There is ample free car parking on site and the studios are a 15 minute walk away from Piccadilly Railway Station.
