In conjunction with Smethwick Photographic Society, we are hosting a Vintage Portraits Session Day at the Old School House in Oldbury, Birmingham, home to one of the most prestigious camera clubs in the UK. To grace this event we have four of the most professional models in the country. With vintage styling, professional lighting, expert guidance and high quality organisation, this is an opportunity for you to take and make great portraiture images.
Our featured models are Retro Rob, Scarlett Luxe, Pip the Gentleman and Meg Modelling. There is a discount available if more than one session is booked across the two days.

WHAT IS IT?
Each session features four professional models on sets to suit the workshop theme. There are twelve places for photographers in the morning and another twelve places for photographers in the afternoon.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
We believe firmly that group events should allow everyone attending to get an equal opportunity to shoot with each of the models. We arrange attendees into groups of three and then rotate each group around the sets in turn approximately every 45 minutes with a fifteen minute comfort break after your second set. Our events are run with precise timings so that it works for everyone involved. On this event each attendee will get to work with each of the models in turn.
LIGHTS/ACTION?
Lighting equipment will be provided on each set indoors where necessary for your use. The use of lighting equipment is included within your admission price. We will be on hand to provide assistance using the lights and to instruct on camera settings, composition and how to get the best out of each model.
You are also welcome to bring along your own lighting rigs if you are more comfortable using them but you must keep them with you at all times.
