Our last two Masterpieces Session Days were so successful and so popular that we just had to launch Masterpieces 3 with five new inspirational ideas for you to work some magic with. This new event will take place on Saturday 12th September 2026 in Stockport.
We will be creating sets to enable you to take and make images based upon the famous works of Claude Monet, Salvador Dali, Edgar Degas, Jan Van Eyck and Roy Lichtenstein.
Our line up of models is as follows : Rebecca, Dean Turner, Anya Volynets, Mr Peeps, and Natalie Ciufo Green.
Attendees will work in pairs (2) around the five sets.
EVENT OVERVIEW
WHEN?
This event is being held on Saturday 12th September 2026 and there are 3 slots to choose from.
Morning
9:15 – 11:25 AM
Lunchtime
12:15 to 14:25 PM
Afternoon
15:15 to 17:25 PM
On each slot, you will work in a team of two to photograph each of the five featured models for 22 minutes on each of the five sets.
WHERE?
This event will take place at All Saints Parish Church, Manchester Road, Stockport

where we will be staging five sets that recreate masterpieces of the art world.
WHAT?
The event features five professional models and there are ten places for photographers on each of three sessions. One in the morning, one at lunchtime and one in the afternoon. Attendees will work in pairs (groups of two) with each model in turn.

THE MASTERPIECES & THE MODELS
Each masterpiece portrait will be specifically styled with the models shown below. We will not necessarily be using exact costume/backgrounds in the original paintings but as close as we can get. As you will be working in pairs and once you have created the hero image, there should be time for you to be creative with each model to apply your own spin on the classic character/painting.
CLAUDE MONET
Rebecca will be on set recreating a painterly look reminiscent of the works of Claude Monet. Rebecca is a seamstress and makes her own clothes to match the required look.
SALVADOR DALI
Dean Turner with his distinctive moustache will be portraying Salvador Dali with some quirky and unusual props.

EDGAR DEGAS
Anya Volynets makes her debut appearance on a Session Day, recreating the poses of a ballerina in a famous painting by Edgar Degas.

JAN VAN EYCK
Mr Peeps is no stranger to recreating famous paintings having appeared on the previous Masterpieces 2. On this occasion he makes a welcome return to recreate Portrait of a Man by Jan Van Eyck.

ROY LICHTENSTEIN
Natalie Ciufo Green makes a welcome return to Session Days, recreating the colourful work of Roy Lichtenstein with creative make up.
ESSENTIAL INFO
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This event is an opportunity for you as photographer to work closely with each model in turn. You will be working in pairs on each of the five sets with backdrops.
LIGHTS/ACTION?
Lighting equipment will be provided on each set. The use of equipment is included within your admission price. On each set we will be designing a lighting setup to suit the model. Lights will either be continuous lights or studio/strobe lighting with triggers and modifiers for your use. If you require assistance using the lights provided then we will be on hand to provide expertise.
