PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION DAYS
MONTY PYTHON
SATURDAY 11th OCTOBER 2025
…..And now for something completely different. Join us on location in Stockport as we recreate some classic characters from Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
You can expect our three models to appear as cardinals from the Spanish Inquisition, the Gumbies and to get dressed up as women. In addition there will be individual sets as Lumberjack, Holy Grail and a bonus set from the recent unrelated film – Conclave.
Pip the Gentleman, Dean Turner and G Brodie will be our Monty Python heroes for the day.

EVENT OVERVIEW
WHEN?
This event is being held on Saturday 11th October 2025 and there are 2 slots to choose from on the day.
Morning
9:15 – 12:30 PM
Afternoon
14:00 to 17:15 PM
On each slot, you will work in a team of three to photograph each of the featured models for 30 minutes and then each of the three trio sets.

This event will take place at All Saints Parish Church, Manchester Road, Stockport

WHAT?
The event features three professional models and there are nine places for photographers on each session : one in the morning, and one in the afternoon.

THE MONTY PYTHON MODELS
The three professional models that will be featuring on this special Monty Python Session Day are Dean Turner, Pip the Gentleman and G Brodie. They will each appear on their own sets for photographers to shoot in groups of three : Dean Turner as a Knight from the Holy Grail, Pip the Gentleman as The Lumberjack and G Brodie as a Senior Cardinal. Once each group of three photographers has worked with each model in turn, then our three Monty Python re-enactors will appear as each trio combination pictured below.

G Brodie will be appearing for the first time as a Cardinal, inpired by this year’s Oscar winning film – Conclave.

PIP THE GENTLEMAN
Pip is the eponymous Lumberjack. He will be bringing an extra special prop onto set (his very own Connie Booth)

ESSENTIAL INFO
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This event is an opportunity for you as photographer to work closely with each model in turn. You will be working in groups of three with each model before working on set with all other attendees when the trio sets are available.
LIGHTS/ACTION?
Lighting equipment will be provided on each set. The use of equipment is included within your admission price. On each set we will be designing a lighting setup to suit the model. Lights will either be continuous lights or studio/strobe lighting with triggers and modifiers for your use. If you require assistance using the lights provided then we will be on hand to provide expertise.
