PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION DAYS
SILVER SCREEN
SATURDAY 29th MARCH 2025
Recreate some Silver Screen magic on this extra special Session Day featuring a stellar lineup of models. We welcome back Retro Rob and Baby Daisy and three new models to Session Days : Serafina Hart, Rob Salathiel and Rebecca. We will be providing sets with a view to creating story telling portraiture and celebrating the age of the Silver Screen.
Attendees will work in pairs (2) around the four sets.

EVENT OVERVIEW
WHEN?
This event is being held on Saturday 29th March 2025 and there are 3 slots to choose from.
Morning
9:15 – 11:30 AM
Lunchtime
12:15 to 14:30 PM
Afternoon
15:15 to 17:30 PM
On each slot, you will work in a team of two to photograph the featured models for 30 minutes on each of four sets.
WHERE?
This event will take place in studio at AWOL Studios, Hope Mill, 113 Pollard Street, Ancoats, Manchester

where we will be staging four sets that recreate the Silver Screen era.
WHAT?
The event features five professional models and there are eight places for photographers on each of three sessions : one in the morning, one at lunchtime and one in the afternoon. Attendees will work in pairs (groups of two) on each set in turn.

THE SILVER SCREEN MODELS
Each Silver Screen set will be specifically styled with the models shown below on four sets : Rebecca and Rob Salathiel will be posing as a couple, and Retro Rob, Baby Daisy and Serafina Hart will be working on their own sets. You will be working in pairs for 30 minutes on each of four sets. There will be time for you to be creative with each model to apply your ideas on a Silver Screen themed event.
RETRO ROB
Retro Rob is joining us for this special Silver Screen Session Day and will be our roving press photographer with vintage camera.

BABY DAISY
Baby Daisy is our femme fatale for the day. Her distinctive look and glamourous appeal lend a unique style to our Silver Screen event.

SERAFINA HART
Serafina Hart is making her debut appearance on our Silver Screen Session Day. We will be recreating the set pictured above.

ROB SALATHIEL
Rob Salathiel makes his debut appearance for us. He is a professional reenactor and 1940’s specialist with a unique look and pleanty of style. He will be posing on set with Rebecca.

REBECCA
Rebecca is also a professional reenactor and a 1940s enthusiast. She will be working with Rob Salathiel on set to create some couples shots.
ESSENTIAL INFO
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This event is an opportunity for you as photographer to work closely with each model in turn. You will be working in pairs on each of the four sets with backdrops and styling.
LIGHTS/ACTION?
Lighting equipment will be provided on each set. The use of equipment is included within your admission price. On each set we will be designing a lighting setup to suit the model. Lights will either be continuous lights or studio/strobe lighting with triggers and modifiers for your use. If you require assistance using the lights provided then we will be on hand to provide expertise.
