Fine Art Portraiture requires strong characters that can bring portraits to life with a look, or a pose, or some exquisite styling. We have four Fine Art models to grace any set, each one bringing a different theme to the day. Retro Rob as a RAF Officer, Scarlett Luxe as a 17th Century woman, Pip the Gentleman as Spice Trader and Meg Modelling as an English beauty : all four of them have a wealth of experience in this genre.
They will be appearing as different characters on each day, demonstrating their versatility. These are opportunities not to be missed. There are discounts available if more than one session is booked across the three days we are on tour in Ireland.

This workshop will be held at Cultúrlann Newmarket which is a beautifully renovated old Protestant church, transformed into a vibrant cultural hub in the heart of Duhallow North Cork.

WHAT IS IT?
Each session features four professional models on sets to suit the workshop theme. There are twelve places for photographers in the morning and another twelve places for photographers in the afternoon.

Pip will adopt the role of Spice Trader in a bazaar. Imagine the smells and colours of a trader in the souks of Marrakech as the inspiration to take and make great Fine Art Portraits.

ABOUT THE VENUE
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We believe firmly that group events should allow everyone attending to get an equal opportunity to shoot with each of the models. We arrange attendees into groups of three and then rotate each group around the sets in turn approximately every 40 minutes with twenty minute comfort break after your second set. Our events are run with precise timings so that it works for everyone involved. On this event each attendee will get to work with each of the models in turn.
LIGHTS/ACTION?
Lighting equipment will be provided on each set indoors where necessary for your use. The use of lighting equipment is included within your admission price. We will be on hand to provide assistance using the lights and to instruct on camera settings, composition and how to get the best out of each model.
You are also welcome to bring along your own lighting rigs if you are more comfortable using them but you must keep them with you at all times.
